Crispy Choux – Beard Papa’s Wannabe

We have had moody weather lately here in Sydney, where some days it would reach up to 38 – 40 C degrees  then suddenly dropped to 20s C degrees the next day for a couple days then gradually gets to higher temperature and the whole circle starts again. Jasmine – Rose CP Soap and Green Tea – Blossoms CP Soap

I have received my silicone soap log mold last week and I have made two batches of floral note CP soaps since 🙂

The first batch I made was this Jasmine and Rose CP soap, still using almost same composition of oil as my honey-oat milk cp soap. Instead of oat milk, I just used water to dilute my lye in this batch and I added jasmine and rose oils for fragrances. the combination is lovely, my husband claimed it reminds him of Balinese spa 😀 Again, in this batch I don’t use any colorant, so this is the natural color of all the ingredients together.

My Tea Addiction

I am a big fan of tea, mostly the Chinese tea and green tea. I believe that tea is a good source of anti-oxidant as well as assist in body detox process. Green tea especially has been found to improve bone mineral density and strength. At times when I try to avoid too much of caffeine intake, I will enjoy some Chamomile or Peppermint tea instead. Chamomile is known for the calming relaxation effect, whereas peppermint tea can help with boosting metabolism and also very soothing when you catch flu or have sore throat. A cup of pu er tea or oolong tea is great to wash down heavy greasy meal, as some claims to be effective in fighting fat and helps with weight loss.
