Restaurant Review – On Ramen, Haymarket Sydney

Last Saturday when we were in Sydney CBD, we decided to try out a “new” place for lunch. Not necessarily be newly opened, but any places that we have always passed by and said we would like to try but never got to try. I must admit we don’t really eat out that often and if we do, we tend to go back to the places we have tried and liked. So, overwhelmed by choices, we were kind of walking randomly and finally stopped by this little Ramen restaurant tucked in the corner of Hay Street. We have definitely passed by this place few times before and kept saying we should give it a try but never had 😛

Restaurant Review – Izakaya Masuya, Sydney

Boy, hasn’t it been too long since my last post. I have been quite occupied with other tasks lately and haven’t found much inspiration to type here, but I am back now! (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

A while ago we had a ladies lunch with colleagues in this lovely Japanese restaurant. It was initially for the International Women’s Day celebration,  after so many postpones to meet everyone’s schedules we finally had it booked for early May 🙂

This lovely little restaurant, which from the outside looks a bit shady (I must admit), but once you stepped inside it has that fancy and cozy atmosphere. We went there at around 12 and it hasn’t hit the busy lunch service yet, there were only 4 tables taken. Soon after we ordered, we can see diners started to filled in and not long before all tables are taken.

Restaurant Review – Sukjai Thai, Sydney

This is a late review on Sukjai Thai Restaurant located in Pitt St, Sydney. A little restaurant that we often passed by but had never had a chance to try until last week when we had dinner for my brother’s birthday dinner. Overall dining experience is good, their food tend to be on the spicy side (which is great!), service is a little slow (I think there were only 2 waitresses around to tend half-full restaurant). They have interesting and colourful decor throughout the restaurant, every table has different chairs where some look much more comfortable than others 😀

Restaurant Review – Green Peppercorn in Sydney CBD branch

We all agree that Green Peppercorn serves really good Thai food. We’ve come to this place probably five times in the last 3 months, that ought to say how we love it!

We came here again last night for Chinese New Year Eve dinner with hubby, my brother and his girlfriend. I made reservation a day ahead thinking that it might be busy but turned out when we got there at 6.30 pm it wasn’t busy at all. There were only four other groups in the restaurant, I guess 6.30 pm is kinda early for dinner anyway.
